Great Synagogue at Kossuth Square - It took 4 years to build the synagogue and it was consecrated on July 22, 1869; the builder was Stephen (Istvan) Ivankovics from plans by three well-known Hungarian architects of the 19th century: Frederick (Frigyes) Feszl, Charles (Karoly) Gerstner and Leonard (Lipot) Kauser; built in the Romantic style; size:
23.30 meters wide x 32.35 meters long and 18.73 meters high
