Stutthof (Sztutowo) - Poland

September 1939 - May 1945

Located near Gdansk, North Poland. About 65000 people died there as a result of terrible living conditions, executions, hanging, murdering in gas chambers, killing by phenol injections into heart, beating and torturing.

The camp served mainly for extermination of Poles. In June 1944 it became part of the project: "the final solution of the Jewish problem" - Endloesung. It became a camp of mass-extermination.
